United States Data

Here is today's update regarding the spread of COVID-19 in the United States.
  • US Confirmed Cases: 47,818  (new cases since yesterday: 10,355)
  • US Confirmed Deaths: 592   (new deaths since yesterday: 124)
  • US Death Rate: 1.24%
The five-day moving average of the doubling period remains 2.1 days. Based on today's number of confirmed cases and the current doubling period, here are today's projections if nothing changes and the doubling period remains constant:
  • 50,000 Cases: March 24 (today – as projected)
  • 100,000 Cases: March 26 (two days from now)
  • 1,000,000 Cases: April 2 (about ten days from now)
  • 10,000,000 Cases: April 8 (about two weeks from now)

  • Global Confirmed Cases: 393,603
  • Global Confirmed Recovered: 101,097 (26%)
  • Global Confirmed Deaths: 17,202
  • Global Death Rate: 4.4%
The five-day moving average for the global doubling period lengthened to 6.8 days. Based on today's cases and the current doubling period, here are the projections for the world if nothing changes and the doubling period remains constant:
