Here is today's update regarding the spread of COVID-19 in the United States.
  • US Confirmed Cases: 107,165 
  • US Confirmed Deaths: 1,763
  • US Death Rate: 1.64%
The five-day moving average of the doubling period shortened to 2.3 days. The US death rate has risen for the fourth day in a row to 1.64%. The number of new confirmed cases exceeded 15,000 for the third day in a row.

Based on today's number of confirmed cases and the current doubling period, here are today's projections if nothing changes and the doubling period remains constant:
  • 100,000 Cases: March 28 (today)
  • 1,000,000 Cases: April 8 (about ten days from now)
  • 10,000,000 Cases: April 18 (about three weeks from now)
